My name is Xolani "Theo" Gina, a 2016 Lilizela Tourism Award Provincial winner. I was born and raised in Nkundusi Village near to St Lucia. The area around St Lucia and Hluhluwe was my playground and after learning a lot about the area around my birthplace whilst I was growing up, I had the opportunity to be trained as a field, nature and cultural guide by iSimangaliso Wetland Authority. In 2006 I graduated, gaining my THETA National Certificate qualification as a field and tour guide. Since graduating I worked for Hluhluwe River Lodge, Shaker Barker tour operator and then in September 2007, I joined African Impact as their first employee where I helped to set up and establish two volunteer projects. One was a Community Volunteer Project in Khula Village, 7km from St Lucia and the other was a Photography and Conservation Volunteer Project also in St Lucia and the surrounding area. In January 2010 I left African Impact in order to set up my own business, Theo Tours.
In addition, I also have a full driving licence with PDP, qualifying me to drive vehicles with more than eight passengers, my business is fully registered with Tourism KwaZulu-Natal and carries public liability insurance, as required by all tour operators and all the vehicles I use have full passenger liability insurance.
I offer a number of different tours of my own which are detailed on this website, but I can also tailor tours to suit your wishes and interests or even book you on other tours offered by tour operators with specific concessions, such as turtle tours. I am also available to assist you with any accommodation requirements or other bookings. All you need to do is call +27 (0) 723 360 850 or email me at email@example.com Also, should you want to hire a driver, a tour or field guide for your own tours or day trips, or even a Zulu to English translator, I am here to help!
Over the past eight years, we have received numerous accolades and contributed to the economy of South Africa.
